Tho some parks forget that customers love to stay in swimming-pools or steam-baths after a long park-day, need a massage, want to relax during a game of tennis or bowling, or just sit at a bar-table and sip a cocktail. Therefore you should inform yourself before going out on a journey which is expensive but not satisfying. |

Allerdings vergessen einige Parks, daß Kunden gerne nach einem langen Parktag ein Schwimmbad oder Dampfbad besuchen, eine Massage benötigen, sich bei einem Tennis oder Bowlingspiel entspannen oder auch nur bei einer Bar sitzen und einen Cocktail trinken möchten. Deswegen sollte man sich rechtzeitig informieren, bevor Sie auf eine teuere, aber nicht befriedigende Reise aufbrechen. |

- Take care of additional fees for various service-activities. Most of the hotels provide package prices which include dinner, overnight stay and the park-entry. They differ in the various categories.
- Some hotels come up with special events and event-days. You have to book very early to get a room during these days.
- Some hotels are separated from the park but are located very close to the entry (e.g. Efteling Hotel, Phantasialand Hotel, ..). Some parks have hotels right at the edge of the park and allow to entry the park area also during the night (e.g. Europapark, ..). This can be an unforgetable adventure to wander around in the illuminated park at night. A hot tip for romatic people.
- Some Themeparks provide a breakfast with the Mascots of the park (e.g. Disneyland, Europapark, ..). This is a nice event not only for kids tho they are absolutely caught with the nice impressions and their parents are free to take the breakfast in peace. :-)
- Normally hotels have their own parking lots and no additional fee is demanded. Additionally some have guarding personnel and your belongings are pretty safe.
- Hotels at parks are normally not enclosed to the local traffic system of near cities and you need a taxi or your own car to reach interesting places nearby. One of the few exceptions is e.g. Eurodisney with the TGV and the parks which are located directly within towns.
- The rooms in parkhotels are usually only ready for new custormers very late of the day. If you plan to enter the park in the morning of your arrival then you have the choice to keep your baggage in your car or use the special baggage room which hotels sometimes provide. The same applies to the departure day when you have to leave your room right after the breakfast but still want to visit the park during the day.
- Sometimes it is profitable to visit the webpages of the sourrunding cities and check the hotels and prices of the region. If you are willing to drive with your own car to the park in the morning and stay overnight a little further you can save much money this way.

- Manche Hotels sind vom Park getrennt, aber befinden sich sehr nah am Eingang (z.B. Efterling Hotel, Phantasialand Hotel, ..). Manche Parks haben Hotels direkt am Parkrand und erlauben den Eingang in den Park auch während der Nacht (z.B. Europapark, ..). Ein Spaziergang im beleuchteten Park in der Nacht kann ein unvergeßliches Erlebnis werden. Ein heißer Tip für romantische Leute.
- Manche Themeparks bieten Frühstück mit den Parkmaskottchen an (z.B. Disneyland, Europapark,..). Das ist nicht nur für Kinder ein schönes Erlebnis, sondern beschäftigt die Kinder so sehr, daß die Eltern in aller Ruhe frühstücken können :)
- Normalerweise haben Hotels ihre eigenen Parkplätze wo keine zusätzliche Parkgebühr verlangt wird. Zusätzlich gibt es auch Bewachsungspersonal, sodaß die persönliche Dinge sehr sicher sind.
- Hotels und Parks sind normalerweise nicht am Nahverkehrssystem der nahen Städte angeschlossen und man braucht ein Taxi oder das eigene Auto, um interessante Gebiete in der Umgebung zu besuchen. Eine der wenigen Ausnahmen ist Eurodisney mit dem TGV und die Parks, die direkt in Städten sind.
- Normalerweise werden Zimmer in Parkhotels sehr spät am Tag für neue Kunden bereitgestellt. Wenn man plant, den Park gleich am Morgen der Ankunft zu besuchen, dann hat man die Möglichkeit, das Gepäck im Auto zu lassen oder den speziellen Gepäckraum zu verwenden, den manche Hotels bereitstellen. Dasselbe gilt am Abfahrtstag wenn man das Zimmer gleich nach dem Frühstuck verlassen muß, aber den Tag noch im Park verbringen möchte.
- Es ist manchmal vorteilhaft, die Webpages der umgebenden Städte zu besuchen und auch die Hotels und Preise der Region anzusehen. Wenn man bereit ist, mit dem eigenen Auto in der Früh zum Park zu fahren und dafür etwas weiter weg übernachtet kann man viele Geld sparen.
